Camera construction

This section describes the mechanical construction of the camera module for getting a better understanding
of the actual mechanical structure of the module.

The camera includes a macro function that adjusts the focus distance for near-by objects – the position of
this function is detected by a hall-effect sensor on the engine PWB (N4401) and a magnet that is attached to
the macro ring in the camera module

Flash LED

The device back camera has a flash LED (FLED) located directly beside the camera, providing better lighting
conditions in darker environments. The same LED is also used as an indicator light to indicate video clip
recording, and to indicate when pictures are being taken as a privacy indicator.
The operating range of the FLED is approximately 1 m (~22 Lux) and 1.5 m (~9 Lux). The connections between
the main PWB and the FLED are implemented with a pair of "pogo" pins shown as X6501 on the schematic.
