Operating Problems
Symptom
The camera
does not work.
No picture is
taken when
the shutter
release button
is pressed.
The flash doesn't
fire.
The pictures
already taken can't
be displayed on
the LCD panel.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Cause
1
The power is OFF.
2
The batteries are loaded incorrectly.
3
The batteries are exhausted.
4
The batteries are temporarily
unable to function.

The flash has not finished charging
or the previous picture is being
written into memory.

Memory is full.

The flash mode is in the Off mode.
1
The lens cover is left open.
2
Memory is empty.
Remedy
1
Open the lens cover to turn on the power.
2
Reload the batteries correctly.
3
Replace the batteries with new ones.
4
Keep the batteries warm while using them.

Remove your finger from the shutter release button
and wait until the green lamp stops blinking.

Check the number of remaining pictures on the
control panel and erase unnecessary frames using
the One-Frame Erase mode. Or transfer the pictures P.37
to a computer, and erase the entire memory using
the All-Frame Erase mode.

Set the flash mode to something other than
the Off mode.

Close the lens cover and depress the LCD monitor
ON/OFF (green button) to turn on the LCD monitor.

Check the number of remaining pictures.
