Hard disk access may be delayed
while the hard disk reaches operating
speed. If an application has frequent
hard disk access, a low setting may
actually use more power because of
the power required to bring the hard
disk up to speed.

CPU speed can be changed by
pressing CTRL-ALT- or CTRL-ALT-
(except on DX4 models) You can also

Defines brightness of backlighting; the
lower the setting, the dimmer the
backlighting and the lower the power
requirements. This parameter is not
supported on color units.
