6. Shooting video and taking photos
a. Shooting video
Set the camera mode to Video and press the "Shutter / Confirm" button. A recording
animation appears and starts to count down the recording time. To stop recording
press "Shutter / Confirm". The status bar displays the video camera icon and status
information.
b. Taking photos
Set the camera to Photo mode and press the "Shutter / Confirm" button. This will take a
photo. You can immediately take another photo by pressing "Shutter / Confirm" again.
7. Viewing camera media
a. Access Gallery mode by pressing "Power / Mode / Menu" and browse the gallery
using the Up and Down buttons
b. Connect the camera to a computer via USB
c. Remove the Micro SDHC card and insert it into a card reader
8. Setting up the device
Go to settings by pressing the "Power / Mode / Menu" button.
a. Video resolution: select 1280 x 720 at 30 fps or 640 x 480 at 30 fps
b. Date stamp: enable or disable the date and time of the recording
c. Motion detection: automatically begin video recording when the camera detects
movement in the visual field. Recording stops automatically when motion is no
longer detected. Can be disabled or enabled with high, medium or low sensitivity.
d. Loop recording: turn loop recording on or off. When switched on, this function
enables continuous recording, meaning that once the SDHC card is full it will
automatically begin overwriting the oldest unlocked recordings, at a pre-selected
loop size. The length of the video loops can be set to 1, 3, 5 and 10 minutes.
e. Audio recording: enable or disable the video audio
