Yourrange is designedto operate
at a pressureof4 inchesof water
column on natural gasor, if
designedfor LP gas (propaneor
butane), 10inches of water column.
Make sure you are supplyingyour
rangewith the type of gas for which
it is designed. The type of gas and
the operating pressure for which
yourrangeis designedare identified
on the model and serial number
plate located on the range frame
below the surface burner knobs.
If, at any time in the future, you
decide to use this range on a
differenttype of gas, conversion
adjustmentsmust be made by a
qualified service technicianbefore
attemptingto operate the range on
that gas.
For proper operation, the pressure
of the gas supplied to the regulator
must be between the operating
pressure shown on the model and
serial number plate and 13inches
of water column. When checking
for proper operation of the
regulator, the inlet pressure must
beat least 1 inch greater than the
operating (manifold)pressure
shown on the model and serial
number plate. The pressure
regulator located at the inlet of the
range manifold must remain in the
supply line regardless of whether
natural or LP gas is being used. A
flexible metal appliance connector
used to connect the range to the gas
suppIy line should have an I.D. of
1/2inch and be 5 feet in length (but
shorter and longer lengths are
acceptable) for ease of installation,
