Thetemperaturein yournewoven
as beensetcorrectlyat thefactory,
so be sureto followthe recipe
temperaturesand timesthefirstfew
timesyoubakein yournewoven.
If youthinkthe ovenshouldbe
hotteror cooler,youcan adjustit
yourself.Todecidehowmuchto
changethe temperature,settheoven
temperature25°F.higheror lower
thanthe temperaturein yourrecipe,
thenbake. The resultsofthistest
shouldgiveyouan idea ofhow
muchthe temperatureshouldbe
changed.
Toadjusttemperature:
1. Push the BAKEbutton.
2. Selecta temperaturebetween
500"F.and 550"F.with the SET
knob.
3. Quickly(withintwo seconds,
beforetheBAKEfunctionenergizes)
pushand hold the BAKEbutto~for
about5 seconds.The displaywill
showa plus number, a minus
umber,or "00~'
4. Turn the SET knob to adjustthe
temperaturein

Air adjustmentshuttersfor the
broil and ovenburnersregulatethe
flowof air to the flames.
The air adjustmentshutter for the
top (broil) burner is on the rear
wallof the oven.
The shutter for the bottom (oven)
burner is near the back wall.
To adjust the flow of air to either
burner,loosen the Phillips head
screw and rotate the shutter to
allowmore or less air into the
burner tube as needed.

The flames for the top (broil)
burner should burn steady with
approximately 1"blue cones and
should not extend out over the
edgesof the burner baffle.
To determine it'the bottom (oven)
burner flames are proper, remove
the oven bottom (see page 17)and
the burner baffle. The flames
should have approximately 1"blue
cones with no yellow tipping.
When the baffle is back in place,
the flames will resettle.
