Avoidcleaning powdersor harsh abrasives whichmayscratch the enamel.
If acids should spillon the rangewhile it is hot, use a dry paper towelor cloth
to wipe up right away. W henthe surface has cooled, washand rinse.
For other spills, suchas fat smatterings, e tc., washwith soap and waterwhen
cooledand then rinse. Polishwitha dry cloth.

Use a solutionof mild soapand water. Do not use anyharsh abrasives or cleaning
powderswhichmayscratch or mar the surface.

Cool before cleaning. Frequent wipingwith mild soap and water will prolongthe
time between major cleanings. Be sure to rinse thoroughly.

Shelves can be cleaned indishwasheror byhand, usingsoap and water.Rinse
thoroughlyto removeany soap after cleaning. Shelves mayalso be cleaned in self-
cleaning oven, but may lose some luster and discolor.
Clean as described belowor indishwasher. DO NOT CLEAN IN SELF-
CLEANING OVENas they will discolor. Wipe all chrome drip pans after each
cookingso unnoticed spatter will notburn on the nexttime youcook. Toremove
burned-on spatters, use any or all cleaning materials mentioned. Rublightly with
scouring pad to preventscratching of the surface.

Wipeoff burner heads. If heavy spillover occurs, removeburners from range (see
page 18)and soak them for20 to 30 minutes in solution of hot water and product
for cleaning inside ofcoffee makers, such as Dip-It@brand. If soil does not rinse
offcompletely, scrub burners with soap and water or a mild abrasive cleanser and
adamp cloth. Dry burners in a warm oven for 30 minutes before returning them to
[hcrange.

Storagedrawer maybe removedfor cleaning. Wash with soap and water, Rinse
witha damp cloth and dry.
