The range must be completelycool
in order-toset the self-cjean ~ycle.
1. Slidethe LATCH HANDLE to
the right as far as it will go. You
may need to slightlypress on the
door to get it to lock properly.
Neverforce the door latch handle<
Forcingthe handle may damage
the door Ilockmechanism.
2. Push the CLEAN button.
The display will show "3 :30~'
The words "CLEAN TIME" will
be displayed on the left. Within 20
seconds, the words "CLEAN
LOCK" will be displayed on the
right.

The word "DOOR" is displayed
when you try to set a clean cycle
with the door unlatched or when
the oven temperature is too high.

Slide the LATCHHANDLE to
the right as far as it will go.
2. Push STOPTIME button.
3. Turn SET knob to time of day
when you wish cleaningto be
completed (mustbe more than
3~ hours later than current time
of day).
4. Push the CLEAN button.
The words "DELAY CLEAN"
will be on in the displayuntil the
clean cycle starts. After the clean
cyclestarts, the word "CLEAN"
will be on in the display.
Note: During a delayedself-clean
operation you can find out when
the oven turns on by pushing and
holding the CLEAN button.
To stop a clean
cycle
1. Press the CANCEL button.
2. Waituntil the oven has cooled
below locking temperature (about
20-30 minutes) and the word
"LOCK" is off in the display.
Bthe left as far as it will go.
Youwill not be able to open the
door right awayunlessthe oven
temperatureis at a safe level. If
youcannotopen the ovendoor
immediatelyafter the word "LOCK'
goes off, wait one minuteand try
again.

the word "CLEAN" will be off in
the display.

below locking temperature(about

Youwill not be able to open the
door unless the oventemperature
is at a safe level. If you cannot open
the ovendoor immediatelyafter the
word "LOCK" goes off, wait about
one minute and try again.
Youmay notice some white ash
in the oven. Just wipe it up with
a damp cloth.

sure to rinse thoroughly with a
vinegar and water mixture. These
deposits are usually a salt residue
that can not be removedby the
clean cycle.
If the oven is not clean after one
clean cycle, repeat the cycle.
