The lightbulb is locatedin the
upperright corner of the oven.
Beforereplacingthe bulb,
disconnectelectricalpowerto the
rangeat the main fuse or circuit
breakerpanel or unplugthe range
fromthe electric outlet. Let the
bulbcool completelybefore
removingit. Do not touch a hot
bulbwith a damp cloth. If you
do, the bulb will break.

The holesin the burners of your
rangemust be keptclean at all
times for proper ignitionand an
even, unhamperedflame,
Youshouldclean the burners
routinely,especiallyafter bad
spilloverswhich could clog these
holes. Burners lift right out for
cleaning,

Removethe 3 screws in the lamp
cover.

@ Detach lamp coverand remove
bulb.
To replace:
@ Put in a new 40-wattappliance
bulb. (Note: A 40-wattappliance
bulb is smaller than a standard
40-watthouseholdbulb.)
~ Install lamp cover. Replace 3
screwsand tighten, making sure
cover fits flush with oven wall.
~ Reconnectelectrical power to
the range.
Note: A screw holds each of
the burners in place to keep them
from wobblingaround during
shipment. Removeand discard the
shippingscrews. Tilt the burner to
the right to release its two tabs from
" slots in the burner support and
movethe burner towardthe back of
the range. This disengagesit from
the gas valveat the front of the
range, and it lifts out easily.
To remove burned-on food, soak
the burner in a solution of water
and a product used for cleaning the
inside of coffee makers. Soak the
burner for 20 to 30 minutes. If the
food doesn't rinse off completely,
scrub it with soap and water or a
mild abrasive cleanser and a damp
cloth.
Before putting the burner back, dry
it thoroughly by setting it in a warm
oven for 30 minutes. Then place it
back in the range, making sure it is
properly seated and level.
control Knobs
The control knobsmay be removed
for cleaning.
To removeknob, pull it straight
off the stem. If knob is difficultto
remove,place a thin cloth (likea
handkerchief)or a piece of string
under and around the knob edge
and pull up.
Washknobs in soap and water,but
do not soak.
To replace knob, locate the groove
in each side of the knob stem. One
of the groovescontainsa spring
clip and the other grooveis clear.
Locate the molded rib insidethe
knob. Fit the molded rib of the
knob into the clear grooveon the
knob stem.
