Assignable Settings or Utility Functions

Keypad/Controls
Lock

Displays the current site ID and
RSSI value; performs site
search for Automatic Multiple
Site Select (AMSS) or
SmartZone operation.
Locks onto a specific site.
Toggles between using a
repeater and communicating
directly with another radio.
Locks or unlocks the keypad,
programmable buttons,
switches or rotary knobs.
Press the button to toggle the
display backlight on or off;
press and hold the button to
reverse the content of the top
display.
Audibly indicates the current
feature mode, Zone or
Channel the user has just
assigned.

Accessing the Preprogrammed Functions
