TROUBLESHOOTING

Trouble
The motors do not turn on.
The brush motor does not run.
The vacuum system motor does not
turn on.
The dirty water vacuuming is
insufficient.
The solution flow is insufficient.
The squeegee leaves marks on the
floor.

This maintenance procedure must be performed by Nilfisk Alto authorised Service Center.
For further information refer to the Service Manual, available at any Nilfisk Alto Service Center.

SCRAPPING

Have the machine scrapped by a qualified scrapper.
Before scrapping the machine, remove and separate the following materials, which must be disposed of properly according to the
Law in force:
Brush
Pad
Plastic hoses and components
Electrical and electronic components (*)

Refer to the nearest Nilfisk Alto Center especially when scrapping electrical and electronic components.

Possible Cause
The power supply cable is faulty or disconnected from
the electrical mains.
The switch (26) is broken.
The push-buttons (51) are broken.
The switch (52) is broken.
The switch (53) is broken.
The recovery tank is full.
The vacuum grid is clogged or the float is closing.
The vacuum hose is disconnected from the squeegee
or faulty.
The squeegee is dirty, or the squeegee blades are
worn or damaged.
The recovery tank cover is not properly closed, or the
gasket is damaged.
The vacuum system motor filter is dirty.
The solution filter is dirty.
The solution solenoid valve is faulty.
There is debris under the squeegee blades.
The squeegee blades are worn, chipped or torn.

Remedy
Replace (*) or connect the cable.

Empty.
Clean the grid and check the float.
