Connecting Devices at Full Duplex

10Mbps
100Mbps
By using the optional Ethernet Module, you can connect high traffic devices
(such as servers) to the hub stack at full duplex. This can improve network
performance.

Extending the Network

10Mbps
100Mbps
You can extend the 100Mbps network topology only by connecting hubs to
a switch, bridge, or optional Ethernet or Fiber Modules. You can't extend
the topology by daisy-chaining hubs together. In the example above, the
network diameter is extended to 400 meters by connecting two hub stacks to
a switch. Each stack is a separate collision domain (segment). You can also
use the optional Fiber Module to extend the network up to 2km between
hub stacks.
