Printing a highly confidential original ([Secured Job])
Secured Job
Secured Job is a function that saves print data with a password on the HDD of this machine. Because the
data is not printed straight away, this function prevents printed materials from going missing or being left un-
attended.
To print data from the HDD, you need to enter the password; this function is particularly suitable for safely
printing highly confidential documents.
Tips
This function is available when an optional Hard Disk is installed.
How to print from the computer

In [Job Retention:] of the [Security] window, select [Secured Job].

Enter the password.

Execute printing.
Print data is saved on the HDD of this machine. Continue to "Operations on this machine".
Operations on this machine
To print the saved data, you need to enter the password specified in the printer driver.

Press the Menu/Select key.

Select [PROOF PRINT].

Select the user name.

Select the job name.

Select [PRINT].
% To delete a job, select [DELETE].

Enter the password.

If necessary, change the number of copies, then press the Menu/Select key to start printing.
