Setting the time and date manually
2 display modes:
- Time and temperature
- Time and alarm time
1. Press [ MODE ] until the indoor temperature appears in
the lower right-hand corner.
2. Hold in [ MODE ] until "M" (month) and "D" (day) begin to flash.
Note: When the clock is set to receive its time signal from WWVB
(The radio station which is responsible for sending the time signal
in North America) a map of the USA will appear. Press [ + ] or [ - ]
to select the proper time zone. Then press [ MODE ] in order to
continue on to step 3 and select the calendar format.
3. Press[ + ] or [ - ] to select the calendar display format
(month or day first).
4. Press[ MODE ]. The year will begin flashing on the display.
5. Press [ + ] or [ - ] to set the year.
6. Press [ MODE ] again and continue with the same procedure for
setting the month, date, hours and minutes.
7. Press [ MODE ] again to exit all settings.
The clock will return to normal time and temperature display if no
button is pressed for 30 seconds after exiting settings mode.
Dual time zone setting
1. Hold in [ - ] until "TIME SHIFT" appears on the display's lower
left hand corner and the set time zone is seen to be flashing.
2. Press [ + ] to set the desired time zone.
3. Press [ - ] again to exit settings.
4. "TIME SHIFT" will appear in the upper right-hand corner.
Example: With the clock set to receive signals from the atomic
clock in Japan (JJY60) and the atomic clock's current time is 03.00
am, having the clock's time zone is set to -1 (Hong Kong time) will
have the display show 02.00 am and "TIME SHIFT" will appear in
the display's upper right-hand corner.
Summer/winter time setting
The clock will automatically set itself to summer/winter time if it is
able to receive a time signal.
Note: Summer and winter time is not used in all time zones and
these cases must be set manually.
Manual reception settings
You can manually set the time signal reception depending on
the country or the American time zone you are visiting . You can
also set it for automatic scanning.

Hold in [ WAVE ] until the set country is shown at the top of the display.
Press [ + ] or [ - ] to select the proper transmitter.
When a map of the USA is shown you will have the following time
zone selections available:
• "P" (Pacific standard time, WWVB)
• "M" (Mountain standard time, WWVB)
• "C" (Central standard time, WWVB)
• "E" (Eastern standard time, WWVB)
No maps are shown for:
• "EU" (Europe, DCF)
• "UK" (Great Britain, MSF)
• "JP-" (Japan, JJY)
• "OFF" No reception of time signal possible.
• "AUTO", appears together with the set country. When AUTO
mode is chosen, the clock will scan for all the above listed
transmitters.
Press [ WAVE ] again to exit all settings.
12- or 24- hour clock selection
Press [ + ] to select either a 12 or 24 hour clock display. "PM"/"AM"
are used for the 12-hour clock display.
Note: You can only select a 12- or 24-hour clock display when
the time scan is turned, "OFF". Refer to the section above.

Language selection

The following languages are available: English, German, French,
Italian and Spanish.
Hold in [ + ] until the language selections (EN, GE, FR, IT, SP) begin
scrolling through the display. Release the [ + ] button once the desired
language appears.
Setting the alarm
1. Press [ MODE ] until "ALARM" and the set alarm time appears
in the lower right-hand corner.
2. Hold in [ MODE ] until the hours display begins to flash.
3. Press [ + ] or [ - ] to set the hours.
4. Press [ MODE ] again until the minutes display begins to flash.
5. Press [ + ] or [ - ] to set the minutes.
6. Press [ ALARM ] to exit the alarm settings and activate the alarm.
Turning the alarm and snooze on/off
Press [ ALARM ] to turn the alarm on or off. The alarm symbol next
to the alarm time will appear if the alarm is active.
When the alarm sounds you can turn it off in 2 ways:
1. Press [ ALARM ].
2. Press [ SNOOZE/LIGHT ]. The alarm will be silenced and
the snooze icon will flash. After 5 min the alarm will sound again.
If no button is pushed, the alarm will shut off automatically after
2 minutes.

Indoor temperature

If the ambient temperature exceeds or is under the clock's temperature
range, either "HH" (over) or "LL" (under) will be shown instead of
the current temperature.

Care and maintenance

• Clean the product using a lightly moistened cloth. Only use mild
cleaning agents, never solvents or corrosive chemicals.
• Always remove the batteries if the product is not to be used for
a long time.

Troubleshooting

Change the batteries if the clock is malfunctioning or the display is weak.
Disposal
This product should be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.
If you are unsure how to proceed, contact your local authority.
