Power the camcorder using
the compact power adapter.

Set the camera mode dial to

supplied USB cable.
• Refer to Connection
Diagrams in the camcorder's
instruction manual.
• If the device type selection
screen appears, select
[Computer/Printer] and

@.
• The process of creating
scene thumbnails will start
automatically. You can press
@
([Skip)), if these are not
necessary. (Thumbnails will
not be created if the LOCK
switch on the memory card
is set to prevent writing.)

IMPORTANT
Before disconnecting the USB
cable, make sure to use the Safely
Remove Hardware function by
clicking the icon in the system tray
to end the connection to the
camcorder.
