Placing a Call on Hold

Using the DiVitas Dialer
To end the call by pressing the End key, press the key only briefly. If you press and
hold the key, the DiVitas Client will be minimized after the call is ended.

Transferring a Call

The DiVitas Client supports the following transfer methods:
Attended transfer – An attended transfer allows you to speak with the person to whom
you plan to transfer a call, before actually transferring the call.
Blind transfer – A blind transfer allows you to transfer the call immediately, without first
speaking to the person to whom you transfer the call.
The procedures for each type of transfer are the same. The transfer is attended if you let
the party to which you are transferring the call answer the phone after you select Transfer.
The transfer is blind if you select
they have not answered yet.
You can transfer a call to a contact or a number. If you have another call on hold, you also
can transfer the call to the caller on hold.

When you hear the ringer for the party to which you are transferring, do one of the
following:

> Resume, or press the green Call key.

answer the call. When you both are ready, select Transfer.
