Flush the appliance twice with 9 cups
of clean water.
If models feature cup selection, set the switch
to 3–6 cups during descaling.
Thoroughly rinse all loose parts.
Descaling recommendation
If water hardness is normal and the appliance
is used daily, descale every 6 weeks.
If using descaling agents which are based
on vinegar or citric acid, descale every 3
weeks.
