Section 3 - Configuration
This section will allow you to set up a DMZ host and to set up firewall rules.
Enable SPI:
SPI (Stateful Packet Inspection, also known as dynamic packet
filtering) helps to prevent cyber attacks by tracking more state
per session. It validates that the traffic passing through the
session conforms to the protocol.
Enable DMZ Host:
Check to enable DMZ. DMZ allows you to open all ports to one
computer or device on your network.
DMZ IP Address:
Enter the IP address of the computer you would like to open
all ports to or select it from the drop-down menu and click <<.
RTSP:
Allows application that uses Real Time Streaming Protocol to
receive streaming media from the Internet. QuickTime and Real
Player are some of the common applications using this protocol.
Name:
Enter a name for the firewall rule.
Action:
Select to Allow or Deny transport of the data packets according
to the criteria defined in the rule.
Source/Dest:
The Source/Destination is the TCP/UDP port on either the LAN
or WAN side.
IP Address:
Enter a beginning and ending IP address.
Protocol:
Select the transport protocol that will be used for the filter rule.
Port Range:
Enter the desired port range for the filter rule.
