Sensor fault
The device has detected an error on a sensor and has terminated the
current programme. Press the Stop button to acknowledge this fault.
Please note
► If error messages continue to appear after an extended waiting period and restarting the
device, then the device will need to be sent to Customer Service to be inspected.

13.3 Causes and rectification of faults

The following table assists in localizing and rectifying minor faults.
Error
The selected program will
not start.
The turntable turns
jerkily.
Food is not sufficiently
defrosted, warmed up or
cooked after preset time
has elapsed.
The device functions but
the cooking chamber
lighting does not work.
Abnormal noises can be
heard during operation of
microwave.
The time in the display
field is not correct.

Device door is not closed
Power plug is not plugged in
Fuse is not activated
Dirt between the turntable and
the base of cooking camber
Dirt on rolling ring
Cooking vessel too large
Incorrectly selected time or

Food is covered with aluminium
foil
The cookware contains metal
and sparks are being created
within the cooking chamber
Power failure
Action
Close device door
Plug in mains plug!
Activate fuse
Remove dirt
Use different cooking vessel
Re-set time and power level
Repeat process
Have Service dept repair
cooking chamber light.
Remove aluminium foil
Observe information on
cookware!
Re-set time
