Application examples

Dry vacuuming
Insert the paper filter bag for vacuuming up
fine, dry dirt.
Information: Coarse, dry dirt can also be vacuumed
up without the paper filter bag.
If the filter status display is lit red, the paper
filter bag is full or the flat pleated filter or
accessory is blocked. Please read the chapter
on "Regular maintenance procedures".
Wet vacuuming
Always work without a paper filter bag.
The dry-vacuuming tool (Pos. F) contains
components which are subject to corrosion,
therefore please use for dry-vacuuming only.
Information:If the container is full of liquid, a float
closes the intake and the suction motor runs at an
increased rate. Switch off the appliance immediately
and empty the container.
When the container has been emptied, you
can continue vacuuming immediately.

procedures

Emptying the dirt container

Switch the machine off.
Undo both fasteners and take the motor
housing off the dirt container.
Empty the dirt container.
Information: Damp dirt or dirty water stagnates if left
in the container. Therefore, after vacuuming, rinse out
the dirt container and leave to dry before storing the
unit.
Place the motor housing on the dirt container
and close both fasteners.

Replacing the paper filter bag

(Order no. 6.904-263)
Information: Filter status display lit red
Switch the machine off.
Undo both fasteners and take the motor
housing off the dirt container.
Take the full paper filter bag out of the
container and seal the opening.
Insert a new paper filter bag (see chapter
"Preparing the vacuum cleaner for use").
Place the motor housing on the dirt container
and close both fasteners.

Cleaning the flat pleated filter

Information: Filter status display lit red
Switch the machine off.
Actuate the filter shaker several times.
If the dirt cannot be detached with the filter
shaker, remove the flat pleated filter and knock
out the dirt (for removal of filter see following
chapter).
Replace the flat pleated filter if dirt is stubborn.
