Power supply cable
To avoid damaging the printer, connect the power supply last.
Using this device without a grounded outlet is a safety hazard and
voids the printer Warranty, Safety, FCC and CE Mark designation.
Plug DC power cable into shown Power Supply Connector at printer and its
other side to BEETLE 's DC24V-out connector ( BEETLE powered off!), or if using
an external power supply:
1. Plug the power cable into the power supply connector shown in the illus-
tration above.
2. Plug the power cord into the power supply.
3. Plug the power supply into a grounded outlet. When it is properly pow-
ered, the green LED on the top of the printer will light up.
Test the printer
If the printer is functioning normally, it will beep once. If it responds differ-
ently, refer to chapter "Using the Printer, Troubleshooting the printer" or
contact Wincor Nixdorf for technical support.
The printer will arrive for installation pre-configured. The printer's current
configuration appears on the test (diagnostics) printout. However, if you
would like to run a new print test or check the configurations, you can run
a diagnostics printout detailing the current configuration.
