Forgot or Lost Password
If you have forgotten the administration password you can return the switch to its factory default
state by following these steps:
Press reset button (Feature 7) for at least for 20 seconds.
After completing this procedure, the password will be "password".

3Com Network Jack NJ2000
Allows you to connect up to four devices to the network.
The pass-through ports bypass the functionality of the switch and are directly wired to the
associated pass-through ports on the rear of the unit.
Indicate whether the NJ2000 is being powered by a local power supply (DC) or PoE.
Indicates network connection status for the uplink port on the rear of the unit.
Can be used to power the NJ2000 with the optional local power supply, 3CNJ1000PSL.
Used to secure the NJ2000 to the wall-mount plate.
•Press and hold <20 seconds to reset the NJ2000
•Press and hold >20 seconds to erase the password and reset the unit to factory defaults
