GAS CONVERSION PROCEDURE
"THE CONVERSION SHALL BE CARRIED
OUT IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE REQUIRE-
MENTS OF THE PROVINCIAL AUTHORITIES
HAVING JURISDICTION AND IN ACCORDANCE
WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE CAN1-
B149.1 AND .2 INSTALLATION CODE".
A CAUTION: READ BEFORE CONVERSION
1. THE POWER PLUG MUST BE OUT OF THE
SOCKET FOR FIVE MINUTES BEFORE BE-
GINNING THE CONVERSION PROCEDURE.
When you switch the gas type slide selector to
NAT position, the software of the midro-com-
puter will not be changed over if the power
cord is plugged into the socket.
This caution should also be considered for
converting the GF1800 NAT to GF1800 LP.
2. To check the manifold pressure, perform the
check twice in each burner mode, in order of
High—Low—High—Low.
3. Be sure to check that there is no gas leakage
from any part of the GF1800.
CONVERSION PROCEDURE TO NATURAL GAS
1. Replace the LP orifice with the natural orifice
which is included in the conversion kit.
2. Replace the air damper with that for NAT
which is included in the conversion kit.
3. Slide the gas type selector on the PCB to the
NAT position.
4. Check that the manifold pressure matches the
following values. If not, adjust them to the
following values using the volume resistor
(VR 1: High, VR 2: Low) on the PCB.
High: 3.15"!?.« W.C.
Low: 1.34" T

CONVERSION PROCEDURE TO LP GAS
1. Replace the natural orifice with the LP orifice
which is included in the conversion kit.
2. Replace the air damper with that for LP which
is included in the conversion kit.
3. Slide the gas type selector on the PCB to the
LP position.
4. Check that the manifold pressure matches the
following values. If not, adjust them to the
following values using the volume resistor (VR
1: High, VR 2: Low) on the PCB.
High: 3.19"!^

After check, reinstall fitting and check for
leaks.(See instruction page 20#7)
2-9 HIGH ALTITUDE INSTALLATION
All Units must be installed according to the
following chart to determine which orifice will be
used for the appropriate altitude.
NATURAL GAS
UP TO 2000 feet No changing orifice (2.38mm)
2000-6000 feet 2.28 mm drill size orifice
LPGAS
UP TO 2000 feet No changing orifice(1.87 mm)
2000-6000 feet 1.78 mm drill size orifice
^WARNING:
Do not use above 6000 feet.
2-10 MANIFOLD PRESSURE READINGS
