Action
Make sure the input paper feed
sensor is working properly.
Check for a broken or stuck flag on
the input paper feed sensor.
Make sure the cable is seated on the
RIP card assembly (J23).
Verify +5 V dc on pins #1, #4, #7,
and ground on pins #3, #6, and #9.

• If correct, replace the input paper
feed sensor.
• If the voltage is not correct,
replace the RIP card assembly.
Note: Always check printhead
alignment after replacing the RIP
card assembly. See
Assembly Adjustment" on
page 4-2
for hardware alignment
of the printhead.
