Incorrect operation
If you should touch the touch screen while making settings in touchware or if the screen
saver is active, the SIMATIC process visualization software, e.g. ProTool/Pro, will carry out
the functions which happen to be behind it.
Caution
Do not touch the screen in the following situations:
— While the device is booting until the beep tone
— When plugging or unplugging USB components
— When the warning "Do not touch the screen" appears.
Wait at least 1 second after the warning extinguishes.
Start
• "MicroTouch TouchWare" symbol on the desktop
• Start menu "Start", command "Settings > Control panel > MicroTouch Touchscreen"
Procedure
1. Start the touchware settings
2. Switch to the "Touch settings" tab control. The following dialog will appear:
