6. WIRE CONNECTIONS
Please follow these connection diagrams carefully and solder all wire
connections.
CN1 (LEFT) Connection Diagram

WHILE IN MOTION IS PROHIBITED BY LAW
Video Interlock Wire:
These steps must be followed to view a video on the CMS5
Display Controller.
* Switch is NOT included, Illustration purpose only *
1. Connect the Light Green Wire (Video Interlock) to a Normally
Open Grounded Switch
2. Switch ON (Ground)
3. Switch OFF (No Ground)
4. Switch ON (Ground), remains ON
Now the RCA Video Inputs will allow the video to be displayed
on the CMS5 Display Controller.
Yellow Wire (Memory back-up lead)
Connect directly to battery
Red Wire (Power lead)
+
Ignition 12V
Black Wire (Ground lead)
Connect to chassis ground
Orange/White Wire (Illumination lead)
Connect to illumination Lead
Purple/White Wire (Camera Trigger)
+
Switched wire
Connect to
Light Green Wire (Video Interlock)

Connect to Switched wire
+
Connect to remote turn-on lead of amplifier
OEM Steering Wheel Interface (3.5mm)
Wire Soldering
Slide a 1" piece of heat shrink tubing over one side of the wire
Strip off 1" of insulation from each end
Cross ends of stripped wire (make a "X")
Wrap ends of wire together
Apply solder to the wrapped wire
Slide heat shrink tubing around soldered wire
