This device is only certified for operation in enclosed areas.
Do not leave the device unsupervised when in operation.
Make sure that all electrical connections and connecting wires between the device and and possible exten-
sion cables are properly connected and in agreement with the operating instructions.
It must be ensured that the protective ground connection (yellow/green) with the power cable or possibly
connected devices is not broken. A broken protective/ground connection poses serious lethal danger.
Operation without a protective grounding connection is not permitted.
Electronic devices do not belong in children's hands. Take special care in the presence of
children as they could attempt to insert objects into the housing of the device. There exists a
risk of lethal electrical shock.
Do not set containers, e.g. flower pots, on the device. Do not pour out liquids on the device.
This poses the highest danger of fire or lethal electrical shock. Should liquid reach the inside of
the device, immediately disconnect the device from the power supply and contact a specialist.
The power supply plug may never be plugged or unplugged with wet hands.
Never pull on the power cable when removing from the outlet; always pull the plug from the
power outlet using the intended grip surfaces on the plug.
Do not let packing material lie around carelessly. Plastic wrapping/bags, polystyrene parts, etc. could
become a dangerous toy for children.
Make sure when setting up the device that the power cable is not squeezed or damaged by sharp edges.
Always pull the power plug from the outlet
- before you clean the device
- during thunderstorms
- if the device is not to be used over a long time period
Provide sufficient ventilation for the device. Do not cover the ventilation openings.
In commercial institutions, make sure you observe the accident prevention regulations of the commercial
trade organization for electric installations.
