Maintenance Chart

The following maintenance operations apply to normal operating conditions.
If working conditions are difficult (very dusty work area, etc.) or your daily working
time is longer than normal, shorten the specified intervals accordingly.
Complete machine
Control handle
Air filter
Pickup body in fuel tank
Fuel tank
Carburetor
Spark plug
Cooling inlets
Valve clearance
Combustion chamber
Spark arresting screen in muffler*
All accessible screws and nuts (not
adjusting screws)
* see "Guide to Using this Manual"

Clean
Check operation
Clean
Replace
Have checked by servicing dealer

Check idle speed
Readjust idle

Replace after 100 hours of operation

Check and adjust if necessary after first

139 hours of operation
Decarbonize
