OPERATING THE MOWER
Step 3
Allow the engine to warm up and move the throttle lever to the
'fast' position after starting a cold engine.
To prevent damage never pull the engine start grip when the
engine is running.

Engaging Cutterblade Drive

Always make sure the stop lever is fully forward.
(1) To engage the (BBC) cutterblade first push the switch actuat-
ing lever downward.

(2) Pull the blade stop lever back against the handlebar at the
same time, and hold in position.
Disengage Cutterblade Drive.
(1) Release the blade stop lever and it will return to its rest
position.
Emergency Stop.
If the cutterblade drive mechanism fails stop the engine.
