Tips for microwave
operation
No settings are given for
specified amounts of food.
The food becomes too dry.
After the time has elapsed, the
food is not defrosted, is not hot
or is not cooked.
At the end of the cooking time,
the food is overcooked on the
outside but undercooked in the
middle.
After defrosting, the poultry or
meat is cooked on the outside
but still frozen in the middle.
Increase or decrease the cooking times according to the
following rule of thumb:
Double the amount = almost double the time
Half the amount
Set a shorter cooking time next time or select a lower
microwave setting. Cover the food and add more liquid.
Set a longer time. Larger amounts and deeper dishes take
longer to cook.
Stir the food during the cooking time and next time select a
lower setting and a longer duration.
Next time select a lower microwave setting. In addition, turn
large amounts of meat or poultry frequently when defrosting.
