Ecco De Luxe 4 in 1
The following table helps in localising and remedying minor faults:
Fault
The display lighting does
not light up after inserting
the mains plug.
The fuse in the distributor
box triggers.
Kettle (10) cannot be
switched on. Power indica-
tor does not light up.
Kettle (10) does not auto-
matically switch off.
Kettle (10) switches off
prematurely.
Filter compartment (22)
cannot be swivelled out
properly.
Coffee flows into the ther-
mos jug (19) too slowly.
NOTE
If you cannot resolve the problem with the steps described above, please contact
customer service.

Troubleshooting

Possible cause
Fuse in electrical distribution
board switched off.
Display lighting defective.
Too many appliances connect-
ed to the same power circuit.
No fault detected.
Kettle (10) is not standing on
the socket properly (13).
On/off switch (9) is blocked.
Lid is not closed properly.
Boil-dry safety protection was
triggered
Permanent filter (24) and/or fil-
ter holder (23) are not properly
positioned in the filter compart-
ment (22).
Drip-stop (21) is blocked.
Coffee machine scaled.
Remedy
Switch on fuse.
Contact customer service.
Reduce the number of
appliances on the power
circuit.
Contact customer service.
Put the kettle (10) onto
the socket (13) so that it
snaps in properly.
Remove the blockage.
Close lid.
Reset the dry-boil protec-
tion as described in the
section Resetting the
boil-dry safety protec-
tion (page 25).
Pay attention to the proper
positioning of the perma-
nent filter (24) and the filter
compartment (23).
Clean the drip-stop (21).
Descale coffee machine.
See section Descaling
(page 27).
