21 Audio

21.1 Measurements in EFRA
The figure below Fig.21.1. shows a simplified schematic over the paths of the audio signals
when measuring.
In the trouble shooting part of EFRA there is several ways to test the audio function.
There are five different ways to connect an audio signal.
ATMS – Earphone:
The input signal is taken from the ATMS pin (pin 2) of the system connector.
The signal passes a TX filter (band pass 300- 3400 Hz) and connects through the side tone
switch to the RX part.
In the RX part the signal passes an RX filter (band pass 300- 3400 Hz) and is amplified, then it
is connected to the earphone connector (J900) through BEARM.
