Danger when sawing small
cutoffs!
The fence has a V-shaped relief to
accommodate the saw blade when it is
tilted for bevel cuts from between 0° to
45°. With small cutoffs there is a risk of
the cutoffs being picked up by the saw
blade and hurled through the V-shaped
relief.

It is therefore necessary to use a
wooden auxiliary fence when small cut-
offs will result in a sawing operation.
This auxiliary fence is to be made by the
user from a piece of suitable scrap.
