1. Important Information
Before operating please observe the follo-
wing points:
• Inform your dealer immediately if transport da-
mages occur.
• The voltage given on the nameplate must cor-
respond to the electric power.
• The vacuum cleaner is not designed for suk-
king off dusts dangerous to health.
• The vacuum cleaner is not designed for suck-
ing off liquids of any type.
• Never use the vacuum clean without paper fil-
ter bag.
Safety and Warning Information
• Before all servicing work, remove the mains
plug from the socket.
• Before each use check the mains cable for de-
fects or damage due to ageing.
• Do not use the vacuum cleaner if the mains
cable is not in perfect working order.
• Be careful never to damage the cable by run-
ning it over, squeezing, wrenching etc.
• Only use the plug-in type original cable

Never vacuum:
• hot ash
• explosive liquids e.g. petrol, colour thinners
or hot oil since these form explosive
steams through turbulance with the suction
air.

Use
2.1 How to prepare your vacuum
cleaner for operation.
• Turn the lock ring (A) on the suction connec-
tion until it unlocks (1).
• Push the vacuum pipe into the connection un-
til it locks in (2). Ensure the sealing ring is sit-
ting correctly.
• Turn back the lock ring until it locks in (3).
• Fit the desired accessories to the suction pipe
(see 2.6 Accessories).
2.2 Use of the Suction Device
• Connect the mains plug into the socket and
switch on the vacuum cleaner using the foot
switch.
Attention: Never vacuum without paper fil-
ter bag.
The vacuum cleaner already has a paper filter
bag fitted as standard.
