WARNING
Do not abort the firmware update.
Once the firmware update has started it must be completed.
►
Wait until the update is fully completed. This may take a few min-
utes, but the operation cannot be aborted. Doing so may cause
permanent damage to the device.
■
Language: Set the language for the menu navigation.
■
Factory Reset : Reset radio to factory settings. All settings such as
language settings, network parameters etc. will be lost.
■
Register: only possible within the UK.
■
Set time/date: Set and select time and date settings with the
"SCROLL/ENTER" knob (3) .When connecting to LAN/WLAN, the
device will obtain this information automatically from the network.
■
Backlight: Set brightness for the display (8), using the "SCROLL/
ENTER" (3) knob.
■
Active: Display illuminated when using controls, i.e., when carry-
ing out settings on the device.
■
Inactive: Display illuminated after 30 seconds without using
controls.
■
Standby: Display illumination after device has been switched off
with the "I/ „ (5) button.
■
UPnP: Name, under which the IR 4430 should be visible as UPnP
device in the network. Specify the name as follows:

Select UPnP
‹
Select Device Name
‹
Use the "SCROLL/ENTER" (3) knob to successively select and
move the characters of the name to the centre of the display.

Correct any wrong input with "BACK" (18).
‹
Complete the name input with the characters END .

WiFi strength: Displays the signal strength when connected to
WLAN.
