Compiling a tour of your own on your PC
You have the option of planning tours on your PC and
then transferring these to your navigation device.
When the Falk Navi-Manager is open, you will find the
Service item on the menu bar. Select the Falk Route
Planner option.
Note: An active Internet connection is required to
make use of this function. Your navigation device
needs to be connected to your PC via a USB cable.
You will be directed directly to the Internet pages of
Falk. There the route planner gives you the option
of planning a route. Enter your start and destination
addresses and then click on Plan route. If you wish,
you can also create stop-off points for your tour. Then
you should calculate the route.
In the top menu bar, the button Transfer tour is
activated and the route is then calculated. The tour is
transferred to your device. An entry field now appears
in which you can enter a name for your tour.
You will find the tours which you have transferred to
the navigation device in the main menu of the Falk
Navigator under the menu item Tours. Select the tour
by tapping on it and then tap on the Calculate button.
You can now navigate your way through the tour you
have compiled.
Note: You also have the option in the Navi-Manager of
accessing predefined tours which have been prepared
by the editorial teams from Falk Marco Polo. You
will find these in the Navi-Manager under the Tours
button.

Importing POI data
In the route planner at Falk.de or on Google Earth you
will find further POIs (Points of Interest). These can be
transferred to your navigation device.
You must first use the Navi-Manager to convert the
data, which exists in a kml format, to the Falk POI data
format. These POIs will then be handled immediately,
as will the POIs which are already preinstalled.
This will allow you in future to considerably expand the
range of POIs on your navigation device.
Please consult the Falk Navigator manual which is
supplied on the Content + Falk Navi-Manager CD for
further information about importing POIs.
