5. Marco Polo Travel Guide

Your Falk navigation device is equipped with a multi-
media travel guide, the Marco Polo Travel Guide. It
allows you to discover romantic squares, cosy little
cafes, the finest delicatessens and everything else that
you want to see and really must see in a city.
The Marco Polo Travel Guide is of course based on
the established expertise of the Falk Marco Polo
Travel Guide editors. Our authors continuously seek
out Insider Tips especially for you, allowing you to
experience extraordinary things that not everybody
gets to see.

Stipulating a starting point

For compiling your personal travel guide, you can
stipulate a search centre of your choice which may be
your current location, the destination to which you are
travelling or any other city you wish to travel to.

Selecting a subject category

Marco Polo Travel Guide destinations are sorted by
subjects. Each subject is identified by a symbol. This
allows you to see at a glance which content can be
found behind a subject. Depending on which search
centre you have personally chosen, you will have a
choice of all available subject categories or just some
of the subject categories.
Subjects:
- Points of Interest, - Museums, - Food & Drink,
- Shopping, - Staying Overnight, - In the Evening,
- Exhibition Centres & Transport, - Art & Culture
Note: If no destinations exist for a subject category,
this category will not appear on the screen.
