If you smell gas:
- Do not use a bare flame, do not smoke, do not actuate
electrical contacts or switches ( doorbell, light, motor, lift,
etc..),
- Cut the gas supply,
- Open the windows,
- Extinguish all flames,
- Evacuate the premises,
- Consult your fitter or the maintenance company,
- Inform the gas supplier.
In the event of flue gas emanation:
- Switch the boiler off,
- Open the windows,
- Evacuate the premises,
- Consult your fitter or the maintenance company.
Advised positions: Boiler
- It is forbidden to store inflammable products and
materials in the boiler room or close to the boiler, even
temporarily,
- MCR boilers must be installed in a frost-free environment,
- The boiler's ignition device must always be accessible.
Temperature:
- The tap water temperature is factory set at 55°C; this
temperature can be set to 65°C
- The maximum temperature that the water can reach in the
boiler is 95°C. The temperature in the radiators can reach
the maximum value programmed for the boiler,
- When the boiler is operating, the discharge conduit may
reach a higher temperature.
Maintenance: We recommend doing this at least once a year
Maintenance and cleaning of the heater must be carried out at
least once a year by a qualified technician.
Installation, commissioning, maintenance and repairs must be
carried out by authorised specialists (approved heating
engineers / installers).
For a proper operating of the boiler, follow carefully the
instructions.

Recommendations

France: the cross section of the aeration vent, which is compulsory
in the premises in which the boiler is installed, must comply with the
DTU 61.1 (P 45 204) standard and, in particular, with the instruction
on general improvement work (Book 1764 April 1982).
Belgium:the cross-section of the aeration vents, which are
compulsory in the room in which the boiler is installed, must comply
with the NBN B 61-002,NBN D 51-003,NBN D 51-006 standard.
The air inlet into the premises must in no event be
obstructed, even partially.
The boiler must be serviced and fully cleaned and the flue gas
conduit swept by a qualified professional at least 1 times per year.
We recommend that you take out a maintenance contract.
MCR boilers must be installed in a frost-free environment.
If the temperature of the central heating water in the boiler falls too
much, the integrated protection device switches itself on:
- If the water temperature is lower than 7°C, the circulating pump is
activated,
- If the water temperature is lower than 3°C, the boiler is activated,
- When the water temperature is above 10 °C, the boiler is switched
off and the circulation pump runs for another 15 minutes.
If a room thermostat, connected via connectors 7 and 8, is
activated, the boiler will operate permanently until it
reaches the outlet setting point.
This function is a protection device for the boiler only, not
for the system or buiding fabric.
