99-7423 DASH DISASSEMBL Y NISSAN AL TIMA 2007-2009 isconnect the negative battery ter- minal to prevent an accidental short circuit. Unclip and remove trim panel between the shifter and the radio/ cli- mate control panel. (Figure A) Remove (2) Phillips screws exposed behind panel below radio/climate control panel. -

99-7423 KIT PREPARATION NISSAN AL TIMA 2007-2009 Clip the corresponding climate control trim panel into the radio housing. Note: There are (2) different climate control trim panels. One for auto cli- mate control and one for manual cli- mate control. (Figure A) -

99-7423 KIT ASSEMBL Y DIN RADIO PROVISION WITH POCKET Note: Refer also to the instructions included with the aftermarket radio. Slide the DIN cage into the Radio Housing and secure by bending the metal locking tabs outward. (Figure A) Slide the aftermarket radio into the cage until it snaps into place. -

99-7423 KIT ASSEMBL Y ISO MOUNT RADIO PROVISION WITH POCKET Note: Refer also to the instructions included with the aftermarket radio. Mount the ISO Brackets to the radio with the screws supplied with the radio. (Figure A) Slide the radio into the radio housing until it snaps into place. -

99-7423 KIT ASSEMBL Y DOUBLE DIN RADIO PROVISION Note: Refer also to the instructions included with the aftermarket radio. Cut and remove the center bar from the radio housing assembly. (Figure A) Snap the Double DIN brackets to the inside edge of the radio housing assembly. -

99-7423 KIT ASSEMBL Y STACKED ISO UNITS PROVISION Note: Refer also to the instructions included with the aftermarket radio. 1 Cut and remove the center bar from the radio housing assembly. (Figure A) Snap the Double DIN brackets to the inside edge of the radio housing assembly. -

Metra recommends using the proper mating adapter and making connections as shown.
