DISPLAY
The air conditioning unit is provided with a display which enables seve-
ral operation parameters to be visualised (see figure).
The backlight of the display may be switched on or off by pressing the
SWING button on the remote control twice in quick succession.
LED
- AUTO LED shows that the unit is operating in automatic mode
- Ventilation LED shows that the unit is operating in ventilation mode
- Dehumidification LED shows that the unit is operating in dehumidification
mode
- RUN LED (red) shows that the air conditioning unit is switched on*
- POWER LED (green) shows that the air conditioning unit is on stand-by
(*) In the event of a power failure, the Run indicator light flashes conti-
nuously. Send any signal whatsoever from the remote control to the inter-
nal unit to stop the indicator light from flashing.
(!) The display shows the temperature measured by the indoor sensor; the
value can be +/-1°C different from the room temperature. Push Tup /
Tdown buttons on the remote control to display the set temperature.

OPERATION

The air conditioning unit is an appliance designed to create the ideal clima-
tic conditions for the well-being of people in a room.
It is designed to cool, dehumidify (and also heat in the versions with a heat
pump) fully automatically.
The air sucked in by the fan enters via the grille on the front panel and then
passes through the filter that traps any dust it may contain. It is then conve-
yed through the fins of a "heat exchanger": namely a finned coil that cools
the air and dehumidifies it, or even heats it.
The heat removed from the room is vented outside via the External Unit.
The direction in which the air exits the unit is adjusted vertically by the
manual deflectors (and horizontally by the automatic "Louver" flaps).
NOTE: The air conditioning unit is fitted with an auto restart function,
which allows it to restart from the last function set as soon as the elec-
tricity comes back on following a power failure.
