ROUTINE MAINTENANCE

Cleaning of condenser filter

This unit is provided with the filter check lamp. This lamp
blinks when the condenser filter is clogged. Clean the
filter according to the following procedure. As a clogged
filter may cause poor cooling and compressor trouble,
clean it once a month.
1. Open the grille by pulling it to you as shown in the figure.
(Fig. 1)
2. The filter has been attached inside the grille and the
front of the condenser. Pull the tip of two white stoppers to
the right of the filter. (Fig. 2).
3. Remove the filter installed inside the grille, wash it with
water and dry it naturally. (Fig. 3)
4. Inserting the filter in original position, It has the tip of two
white stoppers. Push a stopper into the hole of the filter.
Push in a tip after you fix a stopper. (Fig. 4)
4. Replace the grille.
5. Check that the filter check lamp is off.
CAUTION
Never touch the condenser directly when the filter is removed for cleaning. It may cause injury by
heat.
When maintenance and cleaning are done, please be sure to wear the glove. There are times when
the wound is done.
