Section  - Configuration
To create an Application rule, check the box to enable the rule, and fill in the required configuration fields.
Name:
Enter a name for the rule.
Application
Select the Application Name drop
Name:
down menu for a list of pre-defined
applications. If you select one of the
pre-defined applications, you must then
click the arrow next to the Application
Name menu to automatically fill in the
Port and Traffic Type fields.
This is the port used to trigger the
Trigger Port:
application. It can be either a single port
or a range of ports.
Firewall
This is the port number on the WAN
Port:
side that will be used to access the
application. You may define a single port
or a range of ports. You can use a comma
to add multiple ports or port ranges.
Select TCP, UDP, or Both.
