VIDEO RECORDING
Transmitter Setup
This function requires the optional
FW-IRC infrared emitter that
attaches to the VL's transmitter.
1. Set your camera to infrared
remote shooting mode and
video mode.
2. Connect the VL transmitter
to your camera with the
appropriate data cable (not
included) by attaching the single
end of the data cable to the
transmitter's camera socket and
the A\V end to your camera's
A\V socket.

3. Connect the IR cable to the
transmitter. Rest the cable over
the data cable so that it does
not obstruct the lens.
4. Pre-focus the lens to your
subject before initiating video
recording. The Viewer VL does
not control auto-focus in video
mode. Switching the lens to
manual focus will lock the focus.
