Safety instructions
The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage in the following cases:
 Damage to the product resulting from mechanical influences and excess
voltage
 Alterations to the product without express permission from the manu-
facturer
 Use for purposes other than those described in the operating manual
In particular, the manufacturer will not be liable for any consequential dam-
age, especially consequential damage caused by failure of the roof air con-
ditioner.
Note the following basic safety information when using electrical devices to
protect against:
 Electric shock
 Fire hazards
 Injury

General safety

 Electrical devices are not toys.
Keep electrical appliances out of reach of children or infirm
persons. Do not let them use the appliances without super-
vision.
 Persons whose physical, sensory or mental capabilities or
whose lack of experience and knowledge prevent them from
using the device safely should not use it without supervision or
instruction by a responsible person.
 Only use the device as intended.
 Do not make any alterations or conversions to the device.
 Installation, maintenance and repairs of the roof airconditioner
may only be carried out by qualified personnel who are familiar
with the risks involved when handling refrigerant and air condi-
tioning systems as well as the relevant regulations. Inadequate
repairs may cause serious hazards. For repair service, please
contact the service centre in your country (addresses on the
back page).
