5.9.

Adjusting the rear suspension (F4 R)

WARNING: The high temperature of the exhaust pipes can cause burns. Before adjusting the
rear suspension, shut off the engine and wait until the exhaust pipes have thoroughly cooled.
WARNING: The rear shock absorber contains highly compressed gas. Do not try to open or
disassemble it in any way.
CAUTION: When you estimate the rear suspension settings, never push or pull in any way
on the exhaust mufflers. They would be certainly damaged.
NOTE: At the moment of delivery of the motorcycle, the rear suspension is adjusted in the
standard configuration (see enclosed table).
NOTE: The adjustment of the suspensions must be preferably performed with the fuel tank
full.
