Operation Precautions

WARNING! Failure to obey the following in-
structions could result in death or serious injury
due to electrical shock, fire, explosion, suffocation,
poisoning, or allergic reaction.
● Read and understand this entire manual before
using the appliance.
● Contact your local distributor, service agent, or
the manufacturer if you have any questions about
the proper operation and service of the appliance
● This appliance is intended for RV use only.
● This appliance is NOT intended for use by per-
sons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory, or mental capabilities, unless the user
is operating the appliance under the supervision
of a legal parent or guardian capable of safely
operating the appliance. When children become
mature enough to operate the appliance, it is the
legal responsibility of the parent or guardian to
ensure that they are instructed in and capable of
the safe use of the appliance.
● Do NOT use any toxic solvents, such as alco-
hol, as a detergent. Only approved detergent
pods or select HE liquid detergents suitable
for front-loading washing machines should
be used.
● Do NOT launder fabrics that have been cleaned,
washed, soaked, or spotted with gasoline, dry
cleaning solvents, or any other flammable or
explosive substances as they give off vapors that
could ignite or explode.
● Do NOT add gasoline, dry cleaning solvents, or
any other flammable or explosive substances to
the appliance as they give off vapors that could
ignite or explode.
● Do NOT place any item with traces of any flam-
mable substance, such as vegetable oil, cooking
oil, or any other petroleum-based oil or distillate
into the appliance. Even after laundering, these
substances may smoke or ignite.
● Under certain conditions, hydrogen gas may be
produced in a hot-water system that has NOT
been used for two weeks or more. HYDROGEN
GAS IS EXPLOSIVE. If the hot-water system
has NOT been used for two weeks, open all hot-
water faucets and allow water to flow for several
minutes before using the appliance. This will re-
lease any accumulated hydrogen gas. The gas is
flammable. Do NOT smoke or use an open flame
during this time.
● Do NOT allow children to play on, in, or with the
appliance. Close supervision of children is neces-
sary when the appliance is in use.
● Children or pets may climb into the appliance
between uses. Check the appliance before each
use.
● Do NOT operate the laundering machine if any
guards, panels and/or fasteners, except transport
bolts, have been removed.
● Do NOT operate the appliance if any parts are
missing or broken.
CAUTION! Failure to obey the following in-
structions could result in personal injury.
● Be careful of scalding water or steam when the
appliance drains hot wash water.
● Ensure that the water inside the drum has drained
before opening the door. Do NOT open the door
if there is any water visible.
● The glass door may become very hot during
operation.
● Caution should be used when opening the appli-
ance door after the drying cycle.
● ALWAYS turn the appliance off before opening
the door. Do NOT reach into the appliance if the
tub is in motion.
● Do NOT place any fiberglass materials, such
as curtains or window coverings that may use
fiberglass, in the appliance. Small particles may
remain and stick to fabrics in subsequent washes
causing skin irritation.
NOTICE: Failure to obey the following instructions
could result in premature wear, water damage, or
other damage to the appliance or its surroundings.
● Before operating this appliance, all packing mate-
rials and transport bolts MUST be removed. Oth-
erwise, the appliance may be seriously damaged
during attempted use (refer to page 7 "Remove
Transport Bolts").
● Prior to initial use, run the appliance through the
cotton and hot water modes without any articles
of fabric inside. This is required to flush out any
debris that may be in the hoses or drum.
● Only fabrics suitable for machine laundering and/
or drying should be placed in the appliance.
● Do NOT dry anything containing foam rubber or
similarly textured rubber-like materials.
