If an incorrect screw is used during the reassembly process, it can damage the unit.     Memory Description 16-GB, PC4-17000 8-GB, PC4-17000 4-GB, PC4-17000 The computer comes with double data rate 4 synchronous dynamic random access memory (DDR4-SDRAM) dual inline memory modules (DIMMs). DIMMs The memory sockets on the system board can be populated with up to four industry-standard DIMMs. These memory sockets are populated with at least one preinstalled DIMM.

  • Page 36 Release the slot cover retention latch that secures the slot covers by lifting the tab on the latch and rotating the latch to the open position. Locate the correct vacant expansion socket on the system board and the corresponding expansion slot on the back of the computer chassis.

If the system has multiple video sources (embedded, PCI, or PCI-Express adapters) installed (embedded ● video on some models only) and a single monitor, the monitor must be plugged into the monitor connector on the source selected as the primary VGA adapter.
