Disk Operations
Unable to read/write to the hard disk
Trouble has occurred with the disc set
in the CD/DVD drive

If the CD/DVD drive vibrates
excessively or is noisy
Your drive or file may not have been properly set.
Check to see if the hard disk is full. If it is full, delete unnecessary files.
You cannot use a hard disk drive for which [Enable] has been selected in the
[Hard Disk Lock] setting of the Setup Utility by another computer.
Your hard disk content may be corrupted. Contact Panasonic Technical
Support.
You may need to clean the lens or disc.

Is the disc set correctly?
Remove the CD/DVD drive, and then insert it again. (
Is the disc bent, scratched, or dirty?
In the following cases, finalize the recording on the DVD recorder.
• When the program was recorded in DVD-R/RW in video mode.
• When the program was recorded in DVD-RW in VR mode.
Remove the disc and reinsert it. If the problem persists, run the applicable
software and play.
Did you open the CD/DVD drive or remove the MPEG disc while it was
operating?
Re-insert the MPEG disc and close the CD/DVD drive.
Is the disc bent or labeled?
Check to see if the disc is inserted correctly, and check that the disc is in good
condition. If the disc is good and inserted correctly, set [CD/DVD Drive Speed]
to [Low] in the Setup Utility. (
When writing to a CD using B's Recorder, you can minimize vibration while
writing by setting the writing speed at [8x] or less.
