MOUNTING AND ADJUSTING MITER GAUGE
When cross cutting and the blade is set at 90
gauge can be used in either slot on the table. When cross cutting and the
blade is tilted, use slot on right side of table where the blade is tilted away
from your hands and miter gauge.
1. To adjust the miter gauge, loosen lock knob (A) and set the miter gauge body
(B) so the pointer (C) is at desired angle, then tighten lock knob (A) Fig.6.
2. Make a cut on a piece of scrap wood. Check it with a square to see if the
piece of wood was cut at 90º. If the piece of wood was not cut at 90º,
adjust the miter gauge body, tighten lock knob and make additional cuts
until you are certain you have made a 90º cut. If pointer (C) is not point-
ing to 90º, loosen screw (D) adjust pointer and tighten screw.

CHANGING BLADE

Warning! Disconnect power cord from power source before changing
blade.
1. Remove table insert screws and insert (A) Fig.7 to gain access to the
blade arbor.
2. Turn handwheel clockwise until the blade is at its highest.
3. Place open end wrench (B) on the flat portion of the inside blade flange
to prevent the saw arbor from rotating. Turn the arbor nut (C) counter-
clockwise with the closed wrench (D) and remove arbor nut and outside
blade flange (E).
4. Place new blade on arbor making sure the blade teeth point downwards
towards the front of the table.
5. Replace outside blade flange and arbor nut and tighten with arbor
wrenches.
6. Lower blade under table and reinstall the table insert using screws
removed previously.
BLADE TILT
The table saw blade can be tilted to any degree between 0º and 45º to the
left. The blade angle lock knob (A) Fig.8 locks the tilting mechanism.
Loosen blade angle lock knob and slide the handwheel (B) until the blade
is positioned at the desired angle. Retighten angle lock knob.
ADJUSTING BLADE TILT 90º AND 45º POSITIVE STOPS
Warning! Disconnect power cord from power source before making the
following adjustments.
Adjusting 90º positive stop
1. Loosen blade angle lock knob (A) Fig.8, slide handwheel (B) to the left
as far as possible and retighten blade angle lock knob.
2. Place a combination square on the table as shown Fig.9 and check if
blade is at a 90º to the table. If an adjustment is necessary, loosen blade
angle lock knob and turn 90º adjustement screw (A) Fig.9 a few turns and
move the handwheel until the blade is 90º to the table. Tighten blade
angle lock and turn the 90º adjustment screw (A) until it is set at 90º.
Adjusting 45º positive stop
1. Loosen blade angle lock knob (A) Fig.8, slide handwheel (B) to the
right as far as possible and retighten blade angle lock knob.
2. Place a combination square on the table as shown Fig.9. and check if
blade is at a 45º to the table. If an adjustment is necessary, loosen blade
angle lock knob and turn 45º adjustement screw (B) Fig.9 a few turns and
move the handwheel until the blade is 45º to the table. Tighten blade
angle lock and turn the 45º adjustment screw (B) until it is set at 45º.
