Component Servicing Tasks
Assembly (*Only by an authorised Sachs dealer)
Wheels Check for damage, balance*
Stearing Check and adjust free play*
and bearings
Front forks Check general condition as well as for leaks
and repair if necessary*
Chain Check adjustment and condidtion and grease,
adjust and renew if necessary
Side stand Check, grease, repair if necessary*
Nut and bolt Check that all bolts and nuts are tightened to
tightness the correct torque settings*
Cables Check the throttle, brake and clutch cabels for de-
mage and smooth operation, if necessary replace*
Headlight Check and adjust
Battery Check, recharge if necessary
General safety Check for traffic/operational safety:
check clutch, gear, idling speed, handbrake and footbra-
ke, fork column, lighting and direction-indicator
system, check indicator lights, check tyre pressure
